A.C.V.: Not just for Grandma anymore


I have recently heard about the wonderful resource that is Apple Cider Viegar. 

Basically you want to have 1-2 TBS mixed with 8-16 oz of water (depending on your taste buds, it is vinegar after all). What it does is basically create an acidity in your stomach that helps breakdown the glycemic index of whatever food you eat. As the South Beach Diet already calls for things that have a low GI, this makes it so that they are even lower on the GI scale! It tastes kind of like adding lemon to water. A lot of people take it once in the morning and once at night and shed a few pounds. Not only that, A.C.V. is also said to help lower cholesterol, help arthritis pains and clear your skin while giving it a healthy glow. It is recommended that you sip on it throughout the day. My suggestion is if you want to have before meals sip on it at work and finish it before lunch and then make another batch and sip on that until dinner. I think I might try the twice a day, morning and night for a week and see how that works. 

 I say just give it a sip, it never hurts to try.
